The Canterville Ghost
Movie legend David Niven takes a rare television role in this classic adaptation of Oscar Wilde's famous story, giving an impish, whimsical performance as the beleaguered ghost who finds himself under duress when an American family takes over his stately home! When Mr. Hyram B. Otis and his family move to Canterville Chase, they are soon acquainted with the ghost of Sir Simon de Canterville. Sir Simon, however, has a hard time with his hauntings - particularly when he is plagued by the family's two sons. Could their beautiful daughter, Virginia, prove to be his salvation?
